How to make sprouts?

  • Step 1: Rinse well the seeds/beans.
  • Step 2: Soak the seeds/beans in adequate water. Let the seeds/beans soak overnight. (Soak medium sized beans for 8-10 hrs and large sized beans for 20-24 hrs.)
  • Step 3: After soaking time, the beans increase in size. They become bulky and pulpy. Then strain the water and rinse the beans.
  • Step 4: Now transfer the beans to a muslin cloth or a large mesh type strainer.
  • Step 5: The beans start sprouting after about 7-8 hrs.
  • Step 6: Sprouts can be preserved in a refrigerator and used whenever wanted.
